The 15th edition of the NSTF Science Expo will take place from March 9 to 16 at the Institute of Applied Sciences at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, Paola.

The expo aims to bring students and the public closer to science. It will showcase over 560 student entries of artwork and photography with a scientific theme for various NSTF science contests, as well as scientific research and experiments carried out by the students.

It will also include interactive sessions conducted by various science communicators.

The sensory systems of sharks will be explored by Sharklab. The Armed Forces of Malta will give a hands-on soldering session and demonstrate the mechanics of a combustion engine.

An introduction to robotics through Lego will be given by E-learning, and STC and Middlesex University will conduct a robotics display.

The expo will also feature a demonstration on fun ways to teach programming by Headstart Technology and the basics of programming by IEEE Malta Student Branch.

School visits may take place on weekdays from March 9 to 16 from 9am to 1.30pm. The expo will be open to the public on March 12 from 9am to 6pm and on March 13 from 10am to 6pm.
