Grade 12 Biology students San Andrea School, L-Imselliet, conducted biology fieldwork at a rural heritage site in Manikata.

The students observed the area’s different types of soil, habitats and flora, the various types of produce being cultivated at that time, and saw the different types of biological pest control used by local farmers.

The students were also taken to an animal farm where they were given a talk about animal husbandry. They were guided by their biology teacher Jessica Gili and education officer Veronica Farrugia.
