Two out of three bus lanes at the bus terminus in Valletta have been extended to further round the bastion wall in St James Ditch, just beneath Castille Place.

This move is proving too long a walk from Valletta via Republic Street and too strenuous if using the stairs or ramp from the Castille side.I hope that when Malta Transport and all concerned review feedback to select the final changes to be adopted, a better solution to this move is found.

Perhaps the area just as one leaves the bridge from Republic Street, at present used for parking cars, could be switched to hosting Terminus B and C and vice versa.

Not only would this shorten the way to the terminus but it would render the use of public transport safer and more practical at late hours of the day and night.Rather than being a favour, the public transport authorities owe it to all commuters to prioritise safety.
