Anubis, an Egyptian baladi dog whose nose had been cut off, has been given a new home in Texas.

After being rescued by an animal rehabilitation service in Cairo, Anubis was relocated to the care of a family in El Paso, Texas.

His new owners believe that Anubis’ nose was cut off either by his previous owner because he never stopped barking or by thieves who had tried breaking into his previous owner’s house.
