We, a lot of first and second year students at the University of Malta, have to leave home at 6.15am for an 8.30am lecture. This is because bus 31 from Buġibba comes by full up, not only at 8am but also during the day. Buses 250 and 260 pass by just once an hour and this cannot go on.

We at Iklin need a bus to accommodate us. Unfortunately none are available as we sometimes wait for an hour for the bus to turn up.

Residents of Iklin who need to visit the hospital at Mater Dei have to start their trip hours before their appointment and those who need to go to Valletta must catch it from Naxxar Road, as only bus 31 goes to Valletta. Bus 250 and bus 260 stop atthe university.

We in Iklin have a right to our own bus, or at least one that comes from Lija (like the blessed no. 58 of the old days).

Ask anyone about bus 31: it is already full up at Mosta so a stop at Ilkin is impossible.
