It is the law in Malta that those who walk their dogs should clean whatever their pets leave behind them; a very appropriate thing to do. However this does not seem to apply to horses.

Recently observing the hundreds of horses circling the street of Vienna all day long, I noticed that there was not one spot of dirt anywhere to be seen.

I wondered why!

However when I looked closely I realised that these people have invented a sort of contraption – as shown in the photo – so that when the horse clears its bowels, what it delivers goes into it and not on the ground.

Now, once we are very prone to imitating foreign countries in fashion, especially, would it be asking too much if local horse owners were to imitate this sort of horse fashion?

I do not really think it is asking too much to do something that would relieve a lot ofpeople, locals and foreigners.
