A 22-year-old man from Paola was injured early this morning when his car overturned on Tal-Barrani Road, Zejtun.

The incident happened at about 4.30am. The man had been driving a Mazda Demio towards Tarxien when the incident happened.

The car ended up in the opposite lane, which was closed for some time for investigations and for the clearance of debris. 

The man was hospitalised. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
