Over 700 Gozitan students at the Bishop’s Conservatory Girls’ Secondary School and the Gozo College Secondary School attended talks aimed at raising awareness on immigration and human rights, organised by Europe Direct Information Centre, Victoria, in collaboration with the YRE Malta. The students were addressed by Vyacheslav Okun (right), a Jesuit from Ukraine representing Jesuit Refugee Services, and a refugee who spoke about her life. The sessions also helped the students to participate in the Europe Direct - Gozo YRE Award project.
