• Before signing any telecommunications contract, we should carefully read all its terms and conditions, especially clauses related to cancellation.

• When we opt to cancel a contract prematurely, and there is nothing wrong with the service provided, we may incur penalty charges.

• When a problem crops up, the service provider should be notified and given the possibility to provide an adequate remedy.

• A cooling-off period of 14 days applies when a telecommunications contract is concluded off-premises, over the phone or online.
