InterContinental Hotels and Resorts has launched its ‘InterContinental Incentive Options’ across over 30 hotels in Europe.

These incentive travel programmes each provide an authentic local flavour with the aim of inspiring and adding depth to any meeting or event.

Locally, InterContinental Malta dives in depth into particular aspects that make each a uniquely Maltese experience; whether discovering the magnificence of the coast and the beautifully warm Mediterranean sea, revelling in the islands’ glorious and grandiose religious architecture or witnessing the finest and most creative craftsmanship on display.

Martin van Kan, area general manager, InterContinental Malta, said: “The aim of our brand has always been to offer excellence and professionalism with a Maltese style. With the recent release of our ‘InterContinental Incentive Options’ we now have the spectacular ability to provide that local professionalism to all guests travelling to these islands for meetings and events.”

The training was part of the deployment of 3D printers in government secondary schools and was intended to give educators hands-on experience on setting up the printers and printing their first 3D models.

The training, conducted in collaboration with educators from the Ministry of Education and Employment, was conducted using Ultimaker 2 3D printing machines, which are identical to the models that are being deployed in the classrooms.
