CIAPPARA. On January 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANNIE of Cospicua, residing at Qawra, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 82. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Michael, her daughter Josette and her husband Alfred, her son Mario and his wife Josephine, her grandchildren Glenn and his fiancée Louise, Shana, Dylan and his fiancée Caroline, Melanie and her fiancé Ricky, and Evan, her sister Violet Caruana, her in-laws and their spouses, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, January 30 at 8am for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUSCHIERI. On January 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIE, née Galea, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Tonio and his wife Priscilla, Margaret and her husband Alex Schembri, and Francis and his wife Anne, her beloved grandchildren Erika and her husband Michael Azzopardi, Clarissa and James, Celia and Michael, Krista and Kurt, and their partners, her great-grandchildren John and Ana, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Maurice, Louis, Alfred, Mona, Ethel Buttigieg and Imelda Borg Bartolo, Marthese Cuschieri, her nephews and nieces, her devoted carer Bheng, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
