Traffic in busy Mannarino Road in Birkirkara has been reduced to a crawl because of urgent works on a water main. The road links Birkirkara valley to Msida.

The Water Services Corporation said the works are being carried out close to the junction with Wignacourt Street. Drivers were urged to seek alternative routes.

The corporation apologized for the inconvenience.
