AZZOPARDI. On January 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, of Sliema, aged 77, ex-RAF, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Connie, his children, the late Antoine, Desmond and his wife Josianne, Pierre and Liliana, his grandchildren Nathan and his wife Naomi, Yasmine, David, Colleen, Tamara and Keelan, his great-grandchild Amy, Jackie, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for Pembroke parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SCICLUNA. On January 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, VANNI, of Birkirkara, aged 88, passed peacefully away. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Raymond, John, Marthese and Victoria, and their spouses, his grandchildren Ramona, Rebecca, Ryan, Kris, Marc and Martine, his great-granddaughter Chloe’, his brother and sisters, in-laws, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2pm at Santa Marija parish church (Knisja l-Qadima), Birkirkara, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks go to the staff at Mater Dei Hospital and at Jasmine Home, Msida, for their dedication. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
