Five executives recently completed a three-year postgraduate diploma in strategic leadership and executive management offered by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) through Misco.
Speaking to the executives at the graduation ceremony at Misco’s training and development centre in Mrieħel, director Lawrence Zammit said that besides assisting them in their respective positions, this Malta Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification will help them grow into better, more effective and ethical leaders. He congratulated them on their achievement, adding that Misco was proud to be part of their success.
Misco has been an accredited centre for ILM management qualifications since 2007. The ILM Level 4 and 5 qualifications are among its most sought after courses. In fact, Misco has extended its portfolio to include Level 4 qualifications to support first-line managers and supervisors.
These courses appeal mostly to employees who are already working as supervisors or team leaders and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills at this level, or any staff with the potential of being given additional responsibilities to move into a supervisory role.
ILM was set up in 2001 and forms part of the City and Guilds Group – the UK’s largest vocational awarding body. It has extensive experience in leadership and management training worldwide and its qualifications are available for all levels, from team leaders to senior managers.
