The Malta Taxidermy Federation teamed up with 2minds events and the Parliamentary Secretariat for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights to organise Inħobbu n-Natura u Nippreżervawha Flimkien – an event related to the traditions of hunting and trapping, from hunting to gastronomy to taxidermy.

The main focus is to deliver educational information on the various issues related to the subject. This event is being held tomorrow at the Buskett Woodlands from 4pm onwards and on Sunday from 10am onwards.

The event will be held under the main tent and the nearby areas.

Tomorrow’s programme

Competition and exhibition of mounted birds and animals; federation information desk on taxidermy; information desk from the Wild Bird Regulation Unit (WBRU); hunting and supplies shops; Maltese artisan works; traditional Maltese food; stage show and kids area.

Sunday programme

Competition and exhibition of mounted birds and animals; federation information desk on taxidermy; information desk from the WBRU; competition of Maltese hunting dogs by the public relations and educational committee within the Federation for Hunting, Trapping and Conservation; exhibition of songbirds and related information by the Song Bird Association Malta; hunting and supplies shops; Maltese artisan works; traditional Maltese food; exhibition of domestic poultry by Fancy Poultry Malta; stage show; kids area and presentation of the prizes of all the competitions by Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Roderick Galdes.
