BIANCHI. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, DAVID JOHN, of Sliema, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Marga née La Rosa, his son Sandro and his partner Clara, his daughter Michelle and her husband John and his daughter Gabriella and her husband Dennis, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters and brother and in-laws, his wife’s sisters, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
LAWSON. On January 21, at Hilltop Gardens Residential Care Home, Naxxar, MAY, widow of James Kenneth, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Ian and Rachael, her stepson Peter and Theresa, her brother Vincent and Frieda, her sisters Winifred Platt, Sister Josephine Bugeja, Rita and Timothy Bourne and Pamela Bugeja, her nephews and nieces, as well as relatives and numerous friends. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends and for her love of the sea. The funeral cortège leaves Hilltop Gardens tomorrow at 8am for Ta' Ġieżu church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Our thanks go to the wonderful staff at Hilltop Gardens for their dedication and care during her final days. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
