BIANCHI. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, DAVID JOHN, of Sliema, aged 73, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Marga née La Rosa, his son Sandro and his partner Clara, his daughter Michelle and her husband John and his daughter Gabriella and her husband Dennis, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters and brother and in-laws, his wife’s sisters, his nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. BONELLO. On January 20, CARMEN, née Grech, aged 54, residing at Swieqi, known as tad-Daina and married to ta’ Bonello of St Julian’s, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, her son Clayton and his wife Anne Marie, her mother Doris and all her beloved brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei hospital tomorrow at 1pm for St Julian’s Parish Church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Ursuline Creche, Sliema will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CORCORAN. On January 19, TREVOR, aged 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his beloved wife Marceline Naudi, his mother Betty Corcoran, his brothers Gary and his wife Sue and Peter and his wife Jackie, his in-laws Mariella and Peter Degiorgio, Joseph and Vicky Naudi Montaldo and Flossie Naudi, his many nephews and nieces, friends and colleagues. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. LAWSON. On January 21, at Hilltop Gardens Residential Care Home, Naxxar, MAY, widow of James Kenneth, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Ian and Rachael, her stepson Peter and Theresa, her brother Vincent and Frieda, her sisters Winifred Platt, Sister Josephine Bugeja, Rita and Timothy Bourne and Pamela Bugeja, her nephews and nieces, as well as relatives and numerous friends. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends and for her love of the sea. The funeral cortège leaves Hilltop Gardens on Saturday, January 23 at 8am for Ta' Ġieżu church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Margherita Cemetery, Rabat.
