The Isaca Malta Chapter is holding a cyber security event – focusing on the National Cyber Strategy Green Paper – on Thursday between 5.30 and 7.30pm at Smart City.

Cyber security is an ongoing concern that practically involves everyone, anywhere.

The presentation, which will outline the content of the recently launched Green Paper for a National Cyber Security Strategy, will also include a comprehensive assessment of cyber space and its threat landscape, in the light of evolving technology opportunities and business practices.

Keith Cilia Debono, consultant, ICT policy and cyber strategy at the Malta Information Technology Agency, will be the speaker.

Upon joining MITA in the early 1990s, Dr Debono worked in various fields including project and contractor management, consultancy and strategic planning, mainly focusing on geographic information systems with the government. In 2005, he formed part of the National Euro Changeover Committee, working on strategic planning and leading various national business preparations aimed at Malta’s successful transition to the euro in 2008.
