The parvis of the Xagħra parish church is undergoing an extensive renovation. Works include the conservation of the two 100-year-old carved stone figures flanking the central staircase, laying of new tiles and balustrades that had deteriorated over the years, and the installation of a new lighting system. The Gozo Ministry is financing the materials and other supplies for the project, which will cost about €106,000.
