A man approached a TV crew reporting live for a morning show in Serbia and waved what appeared to be a gun in front of a reporter.

The crew, working for a regional public broadcaster in northern Serbia, RT Vojvodina, was filming a live piece to camera about weather at a vegetable market in Novi Sad.

The reporter, Tamara Bojic, continued the segment seemingly unfazed by the incident.

According to reports, the man proceeded to threaten the crew before he ran away.

The broadcaster filed charges against the unidentified man and issued a statement saying that this incident is set another warning that the safety of journalists needed to be improved.

It is still unclear whether the object flashed on camera was a real firearm or an imitation.
