The cast of hit sitcom "Friends" has signed up to get back together on network NBC for a special tribute to one of its directors.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer have signed up for a TV tribute to one of the show's directors, James Burrows.

It will be the first time they've come together on the NBC network since the series ended in 2004.

Network executives say they're not sure if all six of them will be in the same room at the same time, but they will all be there.

"Friends" premiered in 1994 and followed six people in their 20s dealing with work, life and love in Manhattan.

It became one of NBC's most popular shows and is believed by many to be one of the greatest TV shows in history.
