BALANI. On January 11, MOHINI, aged 84, widow of Ramchand Balani, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her children John and Sapna, Robert and Jane, Susan and her husband Mohan Mirpuri, her much loved grandchildren Vishal and Jeanine, Sunaina and Malcolm Attard, Nicolette and Karl Depasquale, Justine, Gillian, Rohan, Pooja and Nikki Nainani and her great grandchildren Julian, Sam, Lisa, Charlie, Izzie, Beppe and Aarav. Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 2.30pm at St Publius parish church, Floriana, followed by interment at Ta’ Braxia Cemetery in Pietà.

BONELLO. On January 9 at St Vincent de Paul Residence, MARY, widow of Victor passed away peacefully, aged 90, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is mourned by Monika and John, Bernadette and Tom, Joséf, Theresa, her grand­children Winston, Ruth and Colin, Ryan, Julian and Jeremy, and her great grandchildren Zack, Jake and Krysta, her sister Nelly and her brother Alfred, her loving nieces and nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends who had come to love her along the route of her life. The funeral cortege will leave St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 8.45am towards Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BUHAGIAR. On January 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Attard, residing at Dingli, former TV technician, aged 69, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his sisters and brother, Anna and her husband Nello, Rose, Maria and her husband Joe, Martin and his wife Frida, Rita and her husband Joe, and Josephine, widow of Joe, nephews and nieces, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30pm for Dingli parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Dingli cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Renal Unit, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

D’AGATA – MARIE, née Ellul, passed away peacefully to be reunited with her beloved sons Tonio and Marco. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her daughters Ria and her husband Frank Gollcher and Didi Busietta, her grandchildren Alex, Rebekah, Nicholas and Martina and also her devoted carer Marthese. The funeral cortège leaves Zammit Clapp Residence today at 2.15pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the management, carers and staff at Zammit Clapp Home, Gżira, for their consistent care, dedication and love shown throughout the years. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SCICLUNA-TAYLOR. On January 8, at St Dorothy’s convent, London, Sister PAULINE, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss the congregation of the Sisters of St Dorothy, her sister Gladys and her husband John Thompson, her brother Godwin and his wife Edwidge, her sister Marthese and her husband Arthur Calleja, her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

In Memoriam

CARUANA – MARY, née Borda, died on January 12, 1968. Always remembered in our prayers. Her children Lillian and Rosemarie Sansone and grandchildren Bernadette Angeli, Therese Zammit and Marie Tabone.
