A 45-year-old “wanted” man sent the police a replacement photo of himself saying the one they had was “terrible”.

The police posted Donald “Chip” Pugh’s mug shot on Facebook last week after he allegedly failed to appear in court in Lima, Ohio.

In their post the police wrote that Mr Pugh is also currently a person of interest in several other cases including arson and vandalism.

And the post was ready by Mr Hugh himself who thought the photo failed to capture his good side.

He sent the police a selfie of him in the front seat of a car. He said in a message: “Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”

The police added the selfie to their post, along with a note to Pugh: “We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.”

Mr Pugh was interviewed over the phone on radio in an “idiot of the day” segment.

The radio show’s hosts repeatedly asked where Pugh was located, to which he gave varying responses.
