Nationalist Party deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami insisted once more today that the prime minister should 'walk the talk' and dismiss Parliamentary Secretary Ian Borg after the Ombudsman's findings on how Mepa permits were issued for his Rabat property.

The Ombudsman's findings were also endorsed by the National Commission Against Corruption.

Speaking at a press conference, Dr Fenech Adami said that Dr Borg should assume political responsibility and resign from parliament.

The longer the prime minister took to act against Dr Borg, the more he showed himself to be weak, Dr Fenech Adami said.

The same, he said, applied to Parliamentary Secretary Michael Falzon and former acting police commissioner Ray Zammit who now heads the Local Enforcement Agency.

Dr Fenech Adami observed that the prime minister in his New Year message had said he would fight corruption. Now was the time to shift from acting to reality and to really fight corruption and abuse, Dr Fenech Adami said.
