Sicily beckons the winner of the new word game series, which kicked off yesterday. Virtù Ferries is offering two return passenger tickets on its catamaran run, which are valid until the end of this year. The prize includes fuel and port services charges.
The six correct words of the last word game were architect, trickster, annotated, petroleum, telepathy and hobgoblin.
The new game ends on February 13, with entries having to be submitted by February 19.
Sicily offers the opportunity to hit two birds with one stone: one can be skiing in the morning and enjoying a boat ride in the afternoon. Or skiing and then lunching at a fish restaurant by the sea. Maybe even skiing while one’s partner is shopping away.
Sicily is also the perfect destination for a weekend with a group of friends all wanting to do something different. There is baroque architecture, an upmarket lunch, a stroll on the beach soaking up the winter sun or Mount Etna.
One can also stay at one of the dreamy villages on the slopes of the volcano – all within a short distance and only 90 minutes or so away from the catamaran.
