Forty students were recently awarded the University of Malta’s certificate of proofreading in Maltese and proofreading warrant by the National Council for the Maltese Language. Since it started in 2006, 350 proofreaders have successfully completed the one-year part-time course in proofreading Maltese. The next course will start in February at the University’s Msida campus. It will also be offered at the Gozo campus in Xewkija if there are sufficient qualified applicants.
