Q: I am having some technical difficulties with my mobile phone. Since it is still under guarantee, I returned it to the shop I bought it from to have it repaired. I would like to know if I am entitled to a replacement phone until mine is being repaired?

A: Yes, since the phone is still under guarantee and since it is an inconvenience for you not to have a phone while yours is being repaired, you may request the seller to provide you with a replacement.

If the seller refuses, and the repair of your phone is going to take long, then you may refuse the repair and ask the seller to replace the defective phone instead of repairing it.
