No one was injured when two men wearing hoodies and masks held up a shop in Triq il-Gzira, Gzira last night and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. One of the men was armed.

The police said the men entered the shop at 9.40pm and asked one of the two shop employees for money.

The employees were a 17-year-old man from San Gwann and a 45-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay.

An inquiry is being held. The police are investigating.
