Steve Camilleri and Michele Stellini were recently presented with mementos by Neptunes WPSC president Matthew Bonello during a festive period get-together at the club premises in Balluta Bay.

Stellini, 32, was honoured for his splendid contribution when turning out for Neptunes in a one-club career that lasted 22 years, during which he won a staggering 27 senior honours.

Stellini was also part of the Reds’ quintet in his team’s history-making fifth championship title in a row between 2010 and 2014.

The player announced his retirement last autumn.

Camilleri earned his club token for winning the 2015 ASA Player of the Year award.

This was a record-equalling fifth top-player honour which emulated that of Marco Manara.

The striker, currently in his eighth season in Italy, has always topped the overall scorers’ list in Malta and for his teams abroad.

During the same social activity, Neptunes’ Under-17 and Under-20 squads were also presented with tokens in recognition of their 2015 championship success in their respective national categories.
