DARMANIN. On December 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, NINETTE of Vittoriosa, residing at Marsascala, passed away peacefully at the age of 78, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Miriam and Marie and her husband John Mifsud, her nephew Mark and her niece Vanessa and her husband Stefan Zammit, and their children Andre, Luke and Samuel, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, December 31 at 9.15am for St Anne’s parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FELICE. On December 27, SALVU of Birkirkara, aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Agostina, his children Mario and his wife Chiara, Rita and her husband Joseph Micallef, his grandchildren Maris, Jurgen-Joe and Mattia, their relative spouses and fiancée, his great-grandchildren Martina and Giulio, his aunt Rosalie, Ġużi, widower of his sister Madalen, Ġuża, widow of his brother Ġużeppi, cousins, relatives and friends. MELLOY. On December 26, MARIE ANTOINETTE of D. Cocco Palmieri Street, Nadur, Gozo, passed away peacefully. Dearly loved wife of John, mother of Tony, Neil, David, Paul, Tina and Anne-Marie; mother-in-law of Sharon, Bridget, Ray, Lorraine, Caroline and Alastair; granny Gozo to Alexandria, Sinead, Luke, Abigail, Rebecca, Josh, Tiggy, Jacob, Sam, Megan, Sean, Caitlin, Josef and Erin Rose. Friends and family join us for Requiem Mass at St Peter and Paul’s Basilica, Nadur, on Thursday, December 31 at 3pm. “She cared deeply, gave freely, thought kindly and acted gently.”

VASSALLO. On December 27, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, ANGELA, née Spiteri, of Birkirkara, aged 45, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Sandro, her daughter Michela and her boyfriend Lian and her daughter Enrica, her mother Mary Rose, widow of Henry Spiteri, her brother Sergio and his girlfriend Frida, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, her uncles and aunties, cousins, relatives and friends.
