Over 50 olive trees have been planted to create a ‘Peace Garden’ on Għammar Hill, opposite Ta’ Pinu sanctuary. The garden was inaugurated by Gozo Minister Anton Refalo and blessed by sanctuary rector Fr Gerard Buhagiar. Also present were Għarb mayor David Apap, sancuary vice rector Fr Dominic Sultana, and pupils from Għarb primary.
