The event kicks off with an animated open-air Mass. Thanks to the various sponsors, the Rural Festivities Unit was able to come up with a programme full of activities ideal for all the family. Singers, magicians, musicians and dancers will be entertaining those present. Destiny, the winner of this year’s Junior Eurovision will be the special guest.

There will be stalls selling various types of food, tradition crafts, sweets, various gifts, toys, Christmas decorations and products made at Għammieri, such as herbs and honey.

Mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and the traditional Maltese Christmas drink Imbuljuta tal-qastan will be sold during fundraising event. Various books, especially Tisjir mill-Qalb, the recent cookery book published by the Community Chest Fund will be for sale as well.

Children can have fun at the Luna Park with various items/games to choose from. Father Christmas will be present in his living room where he will greet children and also have a photo with them. A small gift will be given to every child when taking their photo with Father Christmas. Children can also have the chance to write a letter to Santa Claus with the help of his elves.

During the event, farm tours are being organised. Visitors will be able to see the various animals that are found at Għammieri and even have photos with them.

Try your luck: one can try his luck when entering Għammieri and can win various prizes. There’s also the chance to try and guess the amount of candy found in a jar.
