Victoria Primary School was presented with one of 40 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) given to various schools and other education entities. The life-saving equipment was bought with funds raised by the 16th edition of the 50-hour cycling marathon held in March at San Ġorġ Preca Lyceum, Ħamrun. President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca (centre) presented the AED to school head Lelio Spiteri, accompanied by teacher Christabel Attard (left), pupils Karl Curmi and Maia Farrugia, and Dorianne Portanier Mifsud, head of Ħamrun boys’ secondary.
