Victoria Primary School was presented with one of 40 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) given to various schools and other education entities. The life-saving equipment was bought with funds raised by the 16th edition of the 50-hour cycling marathon held in March at San Ġorġ Preca Lyce­um, Ħamrun. President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca (centre) presented the AED to school head Lelio Spiteri, accompanied by teacher Chris­tabel Attard (left), pupils Karl Curmi and Maia Farrugia, and Dorianne Portanier Mifsud, head of Ħamrun boys’ secondary.
