Access to clean and safe water for all, eradicating poverty, promoting freedom of expression, religious diversity, conflict resolution, education for all and the role of women were among the themes tackled by Ekoskola students through an exhibition they set up at the Education Ministry in Floriana.

Ekoskola students at various schools worked for months to prepare their exhibits, conducting research about challenges affecting Commonwealth countries. Some even teamed up with schools from other Commonwealth countries to learn about their realities.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Education Minister Evarist Bartolo and was organised by Nature Trust Malta through its Ekoskola international education for sustainable development programme.
