More than 5,000 reports of domestic violence were lodged in Malta between 2009 and the end of 2014. Many cases remain unreported. At least a quarter of all murders committed in Malta in the last five years were related to domestic violence.

What structures do we have in place to cut down the incidents of domestic violence? Are the authorities trained to deal with such a sensitive issue? Times Talk will discuss the issue with the experts.

Presented by Herman Grech and Mark Micallef, Times Talk will be screened on Tuesday on TVM at 10.05pm, with a repeat on TVM2 on Wednesday at 1.30pm.
