A conference on the theme ‘The role of human rights bodies in promoting a human rights culture’ will be held on Thursday at Radisson Blu, St Julian’s by the University’s Human Rights Programme.

International speakers will address the conference, which will present a diverse and interdisciplinary set of studies.

Topics include legal frameworks for human rights institutions, the main determinants of a human rights culture, the connection between access to justice and human rights bodies and how a national human rights institution can contribute to democratic processes and practices.
