PACE. On November 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, Mgr. ANTHONY PACE, passed away peacefully, aged 98, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leave to mourn his loss his brother Joseph, his sister Sr Aurelia, Sister of St Dorothy, his nieces and nephews, Antoinette Attard, Anna Dalli, Joseph Cardona, Paula Pace, Mariella Ciappara, Louis and David Pace; Paul, Edward and David Pace, Maryann Smith, their families, other relatives and friends, including the staff and residents at the Holy Family Home, Naxxar; also the members of the Metropolitan Chapter. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, December 5 at 8.15am for the chapel of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl Tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am by Archbishop Mgr. Charles Scicluna, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Holy Family Home, Naxxar, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PACE. On November 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, IVAN of Ta’ Xbiex, aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Myriam, née Galea, his daughters Nadine and her husband Hector Spiteri, Charisse and her husband Steve Mifsud, his granddaughters Rebecca, Stephanie, Bettina and Deborah, his brother Edwin and his wife Juliet, Louise, widow of his brother Alex, his in-laws Raymond and Joan Galea, Tony and Anna Galea, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St John of the Cross parish church, Ta’ Xbiex, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, or Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
