The pictures represent current daily life in Victoria, my city. I experience it when heading home, when walking to my favourite coffee bars and when visiting our main square, It-Tokk.
To add insult to injury, at a time when urban-based petrol stations are being moved out of villages, some bright spark at the Gozo Ministry has come up with the brilliant idea to build a 10,000-litre LPG reservoir up the hill in a parking lot, smack among residential property. This just to feed a naked light all the way down at It-Tokk, some 300 metres away.
This is also a spot that is regularly showered by burning residue of fireworks let off during the two main feasts of Victoria.
Did anyone spot any health and safety officials somewhere?
