Three representatives from the Education Ministry took part in this year’s Experts Meeting in Education Networking (Eminent) annual meeting in Barcelona, Spain.

The annual event brings together experts in education, ministry representatives and other stakeholders to discuss the latest trends in education and technology.

The event, which focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (Stem) in education and life, was organised by European Schoolnet in collaboration with Scientix, the community for science education in Europe, and the Department of Education of Catalonia. Mario Muscat, education officer for integrated science, delivered a presentation entitled ‘Stem popularisation – the Malta experience’ at the conference.

Scientix promotes and supports Europe-wide collaboration among Stem teachers, education researchers, policymakers and other Stem education professionals. The ministry is the national contact point for Scientix.

Stem educators may access the project portal below for further information and updates.
