The National Federation of Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco in Malta is organising a conference on ‘The vocation and mission of the family in the Church and contemporary world’ – which was the central theme of the Synod of Bishops held last month – on December 12 at 5.30pm at the Intercontinental Hotel, St Julian’s.

The main speaker will be Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, president of the Maltese Episcopal Conference, who was a participant at the Synod.

The conference, which is being sponsored by APS Bank, aims to explore the Synod of Bishops’ insight into the mission of the family in the Church and society in today’s world.

Those interested in attending are asked to contact Bryan Magro or Amanda Sammut Cachia by e-mailing bryanmagro@gmail.com or amanda.cachia@gmail.com, texting 7949 2555 or 9921 5843, including their name, address and e-mail addresses of those wishing to attend.

An invitation will be sent by post to all those who register. The closing date is December 10.

Parking at the Intercontinental Hotel is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons will be offered up to three hours of complimentary parking.
