Queen Elizabeth, nearing her 90th birthday, jokes that the youthful Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau made her "feel old" after he toasted her historic service to the Commonwealth in Malta. 

The joke was made on Friday when the queen hosted a gala dinner  for the leaders attending the Commonwealth Summit and showed that her near 90-years of age haven't dimmed her ability for a witty riposte.

Justin Trudeau, Canada's Prime Minister, and the newest member in Commonwealth leaders' family, delivered a glowing toast to the Queen, mentioning her six decades on the throne and "long and tireless" service to the Commonwealth, quipping that she had seen more of Canada during her long reign that most Canadians.

The Queen replied to Trudeau's toast by saying: "Thank you Mr. Prime Minister of Canada, for making me feel so old", causing gales of laughter among the assembled guests.
