• Aggressive selling is illegal as it impairs the consumers’ freedom of choice.
• It is considered an aggressive selling tactic when the trader refuses to leave the consumer’s home unless a sale is concluded.
• Scare tactics are also considered aggressive and therefore forbidden.
• When consumers encounter sellers who adopt aggressive selling techniques, they should report them to the Office for Consumer Affairs.
