Malta, through the MCCAA is taking part in this project. Nine samples of LED bulbs are being tested for compliance with energy regulations.

The samples have been sent to an overseas laboratory for initial testing. Following the results obtained during this initial testing, a decision will be taken as to whether more samples will be further tested.
