Champions Chelsea will be facing a daunting task when they head to north London to face in-form Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane tomorrow.

Jose Mourinho’s men come into the match on the back of two successive victories. Last Saturday, the Blues had the better of Norwich 1-0 at home and on Tuesday they crushed Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0 to keep their hopes alive of a Champions League last 16 slot.

But, perhaps, the match against the Spurs will be an even bigger test for the Blues.

Last week, Tottenham stretched their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 12 matches after brushing aside West Ham United at White Hart Lane.

Striker Harry Kane seems to have hit top form again after notching a brace against the Hammers. He also scored the winner at Qarabag on Thursday to push Tottenham into the last 32 of the Europa League.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will have winger Dele Alli missing as he must serve a one-match ban.

Eden Hazard’s struggles this season were noticed by many as among the main reasons behind Chelsea’s poor start to the campaign.

Last weekend, the Belgian was a lively figure against Norwich and he later revealed that his switch to a more central position, after consultation with Mourinho, is starting to reap dividends.

Leicester must stretch every sinew to hold on to their lofty position in the standings as they entertain Manchester United in a top-of-the-table clash at the King Power Stadium this evening.

The Foxes stunned the pundits this season with their eye-catching performances and manager Claudio Ranieri deserves all the praise he can get for his team’s achievements.

Today, all eyes will be on Jamie Vardy. The Leicester striker can set a Premier League scoring record if he finds the net against Manchester United.

Last weekend, Vardy equalled Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s benchmark of netting in ten consecutive Premier League matches when hitting the net in a 3-0 victory away at Newcastle United.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will be hoping forwards Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingaard will be far more ruthless than in midweek after the Red Devils squandered a host of scoring chances in a 0-0 draw against PSV at home that left their Champions League ambitions hanging by a thread.

After being knocked off the top perch by Liverpool, Manchester City entertain Southampton this afternoon.

Manuel Pellegrini put City’s 4-1 upset to the Reds at home down to ‘collective failure’.

The Chilean manager told reporters he was angry with his men after a ‘disastrous’ performance at the Etihad stadium.

More woes followed for City in midweek when they went down1-0 to Juventus to lose top spot in Champions League Group D.

After their 1-2 setback to West Brom at The Hawthorns, Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways as they travel to Norwich City tomorrow.

In midweek, the Gunners kept alive their slim hopes of reaching the Champions League knock-out stage after beating Dinamo Zagreb 3-0. The Londoners now need to beat Olympiakos away by two clear goals to progress.

Liverpool, buoyed by their brilliant performance at Manchester City and the 2-1 win over Bordeaux on Thursday, play hosts to Swansea at Anfield tomorrow.

Liverpool players gave most of the credit to manager Juergen Klopp after they ran out convincing winners against City at the Etihad Stadium.
