AGIUS. On November 23, at her home in Marsa, MARIA, aged 83, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Carmelo, her sons Silvio and his wife Anna, Joseph and his wife Antida, Martin and his wife Antonia, George and his wife Francesca, Raymond and his wife Monarit, Ernest and his wife Doreen, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sisters Frances Brincat and Gina Barlow and their families, other relatives and friends. CAMILLERI BRENNAN. On November 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIORGINA, aged 92, passed away peacefully to eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother John and his wife Marion, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for St Francis church, Villambrosa, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Vince and his wife Moira and their sons Kyle and Zak, and Tanio and his wife Rita and their children Kurt and Kyra, her brother Tony, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mellieħa home for the elderly tomorrow at 2.15pm for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Dingli cemetery. SCIBERRAS. On November 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Birkirkara, widower of Josephine, née Camilleri, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his sisters and brothers, Rose, Emmanuel, Alfred and his wife Bastianina, Mary, Tony and his wife M’Lourdes, and Helen and her husband Carmine, Lina, widow of his brother John, his in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Wednesday, November 25 at 2pm at St Mary’s parish church (knisja l-qadima) Birkirkara, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VELLA. On November 23, at St Catherine Home, Attard, Fr ANGELICUS OP, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his niece Maria wife of James Souness, his religious Dominican brothers in Sliema, his other brothers of the Dominican Province, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9.30am at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema followed by interment at Santa Maria Adolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Dominican Mission in Albania will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks go to the Dominican Sisters at St Catherine Home for their constant and loving care of Fr Angelicus during the past year. May the Lord and Saint Dominic grant him eternal rest.

Sub-post office closed

The sub-post office at Not Just Stationery, Pjazza l-Eroj, Swatar, Birkirkara BKR 4253 will be closed on Thursday and Friday, MaltaPost said.

The Birkirkara post office at 58, Valley Road and the sub-post offices at Oreana Stationery, 94, L. Casolani Street, Landau Stationery, 84, Mannarinu Road and D Spiral, Victory Street in Birkirkara will be open on both days.
