Maltese singer Destiny was given a hero’s welcome on her return to Malta this afternoon.

Family, friends and fans, as well as a small band, greeted her with music, shouts and applause on her arrival at Malta International Airport from Armenia, where she yesterday competed in and won the Junior Eurovision.

The 12-year-old singer represented Malta with the catchy song Not My Soul, the lyrics of which she wrote herself.

The young singer, who was alone on the stage, impressed with her strong voice.
