Grace Harding, Ocean Basket CEO, recently met with Ocean Basket Malta’s managing director, Joseph Attard to celebrate 100 days from their first franchised store opening.

The Qawra restaurant welcomed Harding, who commended the local team on the success of the restaurant’s launch. Ocean Basket Malta is now firmly established amongst an almost 200-strong network of Ocean Basket restaurants in 16 countries, from South Africa to Dubai and from Mauritius to Cyprus.

The Ocean Basket concept promises a great selection of fish, seafood and sushi for the whole family to enjoy. “Thousands of diners have come through our doors these last few months and we are thrilled to see that many have become regular, repeat guests,” Attard said. “We believe that Ocean Basket offers a unique combination of product, setting and affordability and we look forward to welcoming more patrons in the weeks and months to come.”

Building on that, Harding added: “People are more health-conscious than ever before; they may be time-starved, but they are definitely thinking about what they consume. Fish, seafood and sushi offer a good choice for people of all ages, being an excellent source of protein that is full of nutrients. We are extremely pleased to see that the Maltese public has embraced this new approach to dining.”
