England Insurance Agency recently revamped its corporate identity. The rebranding exercise has been entrusted to advertising and PR agency Strategic Communications, which has worked closely with England throughout the project.

Starting from England’s original logo and moving on to developing a corporate image preserving key elements of the firm’s previous visual identity, both the corporate colours and the iconic lion were preserved to highlight continuity with the past.

The agency’s heritage has been emphasised with the creation of ‘The strength of experience’ slogan, a reference to both the lion from England’s heraldic symbol and decades of experience. The new identity has been applied to all of the firm’s marketing collaterals and the office facade and interiors.

Today, England is headed by brothers in the third generation of the family in insurance, namely William and Peter England.

Set up in 1981 by the late brothers Henry and Paul England, since 1993 England became an agent for Middle Sea Insurance Co. Ltd, today Mapfre Middlesea plc.
