The government should publish agreements reached so far with investors taking over hospitals in Malta and Gozo, the Nationalist Party said this afternoon.

It said remarks made by minister Konrad Mizzi on TV programme Dissett had continued to raise questions.

While having previously refused to publish the agreement with Vitalis Global Healthcare, Dr Mizzi had now said that the agreement had not been signed yet and he would check whether it could be published.

"Joseph Muscat and Konrad Mizzi need to realise that in this case they are not speaking about a power station that was not built on time, but the healthcare of people and the jobs of thousands of people," the PN said.

It called on the minister to explain the impact of the agreement on doctors and other staff.
