I know, I know: it is harsh on fellow economists but, sadly, it is reality.
For over a year now, we have been consistently in praise of the country’s economic performance. Yet, hardly any comments, save for the usual accusations, chiefly in commentaries, of politico-partisan partiality.
Finally, Moody’s has said it. Its news value, unfortunately, has been crushed by the Valletta Summit, leaving one unsure as to whether the usual naysayers have stayed mum.
